Dr. Elton See Tan, PHD, DPS, LHD, DCL, LLD, CPM-Asia, Chairman, President & CEO of The E-Hotels, Resorts & Residences Suites; The E-International Group; The E-Apartelles, The-E-Condotels & The E-Executive Suites.

Dr. Tan is very active in civic & charitable organizations, President & CEO of Makati Tourism Foundation Inc. Dr. Elton See Tan will discuss his experiences in Real Estate and Tourism industry in combating climate change and disaster risks amidst the pandemic. Now building two commercial hotels, The E-Hotel Quezon City & The E-Hotel Manila in Macapagal. While his Makati branch, The E-Hotel Makati, is the premier choice of bankers & business travelers.

Dr. Elton See Tan received his Doctor of Laws from Southern New Hampshire University & MBA from the University of Missouri. He is currently at the Advisory Board of the University of San Francisco.


Ms. Liza Silerio is currently the Vice President for Corporate Compliance Group for SM Prime Holding Inc with 20 years of experience in Mall Operations. Program Director for SM Environment and Sustainability. She is the ARISE Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies Global Board Member. She is the head of the former Secretariat for the ARISE Philippines, Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies (ARISE) - The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) (formerly known as UNISDR), which is the focal point of the United Nations system for disaster risk reduction and the custodian of the Sendai Framework, supporting countries and societies in its implementation, monitoring and review of progress. She is the Chairperson of Ortigas Center Association Inc., OCAI, a non-stock, non-profit organization, which is commissioned to uphold the stature of Ortigas Center as one of the nation's prime business districts. OCAI is composed of 192 lot and building owners situated at around 267 acres along with major cities in Metro Manila


Karen Olivia Jimeno has over 14 years of experience in legal services and government. She currently serves as a Policy and Regulatory Consultant for the World Bank. Prior to joining Sofcap, she served as Undersecretary for Presidential Management Staff, Undersecretary for the Department of Public Works and Highways, Legal Counsel for the Senate Ethics Committee of the 17th Congress of the Philippines, and Program Host and News Anchor for CNN Philippines. She holds a degree in Master of Development Practice Certified in Engineering and Business for Sustainability from UC Berkeley (where she was a Fulbright Scholar), a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, a Bachelor of Law from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She is licensed to practice law in the Philippines and in New York.


Apart from Marie Curie, she was also a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. She earned her Ph.D. in Peace and International Development with the highest honors (sobresaliente cum laude) from the Cátedra UNESCO de Filosofía para la Paz, Universidad Jaume in Spain. She has been part of several research groups including the European Research Center for Information Systems, the Research Group on European Civil Society and Multi-level Governance at the University of Muenster, the Non-Profit Team at the Vienna School of Business and Economics, and the Studies on Intermediality and Intercultural Mediation of Universidad Complutense in Madrid, among others. She is a Global Ambassador of WomenTech Network and is a University Fellow of Wesleyan University. She received the global Marie Curie Alumni Association Social Impact Award recently for her work in peace and security, tech for good, gender, and humanitarian response. She is currently the Vice-Chair for the Asia Pacific of the Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network.


Andy has been the main architect of the SRM Governance Initiative since its launch in 2010, responsible for the focus on the Global South, the program of engagement workshops, and the creation of the DECIMALS Fund. His background is in climate policy and he began working on geoengineering in 2008 when he led the production of the Royal Society’s Geoengineering the climate report. He then moved into academia to research SRM governance at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, Potsdam. Andy was a member of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity’s expert working group on geoengineering and is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, UK.
